These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the public-facing portions of GirlfriendEngine.com (the “Site”). The Site includes informational pages, marketing materials, support information, and any other non-interactive or non-authenticated areas of the domain.

Use of the GirlfriendEngine AI service, including interactions with AI companions, is governed separately by our Terms of Service, which are incorporated herein by reference. The Terms of Service are hereby incorporated into and form an integral part of these Terms of Use.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

1. Limited License to Use the Site

Monolith Interactive LLC (“Monolith,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

copy, reproduce, or distribute material from the Site
use scraping, bots, or automated tools
interfere with or disrupt the Site
attempt to access restricted areas or systems

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Monolith.

2. Zero PII Intake

The public-facing Site is designed to operate without collecting personal information.
We do not request or require names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifying information to browse the Site.

If you voluntarily submit information through an optional form (such as a contact form), you agree not to provide any personal information beyond what is strictly necessary for the form’s function.

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what limited technical data we process.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Site, including all text, graphics, logos, design elements, layout, trademarks, trade names, and other materials (“Site Materials”), is owned by or licensed to Monolith and protected under intellectual property laws.

You may not:

modify, copy, distribute, frame, or publicly display Site Materials
use Site Materials to create derivative works
use any Monolith trademark or branding without written permission

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or rights to the Site Materials.

4. User Content (If Any)

The Site does not generally permit users to upload or publish content.
If we later introduce optional forms, fields, or submission areas that allow you to provide text or other material (“User Content”), the following applies:

You retain ownership of your User Content.
You represent that your User Content is lawful, non-infringing, and non-identifying.
By submitting User Content, you grant Monolith a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such User Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, or improving the Site.

This license is narrow and applies only to the public-facing Site—not to the AI service or any AI-generated materials (which are governed by the Terms of Service).

We may remove User Content at any time for any reason.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Site to:

engage in illegal activity
interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers
attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
scrape, copy, archive, or mirror Site content
submit malware or harmful code
misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
violate intellectual property rights

We may restrict access to the Site for violations of these Terms.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services.
We do not control or endorse these sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and all materials provided on or through it are offered “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Monolith Interactive LLC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or suitability of any information presented on the Site.

7.1 AI Content Disclaimer

Portions of the Site may reference, demonstrate, or display content generated by artificial intelligence systems, including but not limited to text, audio, images, artwork, animations, and video (“AI-Generated Content”). AI-Generated Content may be inaccurate, fictional, offensive, unexpected, misleading, or inconsistent with real-world facts or appearances.

You agree and understand that:

AI-Generated Content may include fictional people, places, events, or depictions that do not exist.
Visual outputs (including images, artwork, and video) may unintentionally resemble real individuals or contain elements that appear realistic without being accurate or intentional.
AI-Generated Content should not be relied upon for factual accuracy, identification of real persons, or real-world decision-making.
Monolith does not review, verify, authenticate, or guarantee the correctness, realism, tone, or appropriateness of any AI-Generated Content referenced by or displayed on the Site.
Monolith is not responsible for any interpretation, reaction, or action you take based on AI-Generated Content.

AI-Generated Content is provided solely for informational, illustrative, or entertainment purposes. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Monolith is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages.
Monolith’s total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Site shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; only prohibited limitations will not apply.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Monolith harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of:

your use of the Site
your User Content (if any)
your violation of these Terms
your violation of any applicable law

10. Changes to the Site and Terms

We may modify, update, or discontinue the Site at any time.
We may also update these Terms occasionally. The “Effective Date” above reflects the latest version.

Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflicts of law.

11.1 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
You waive the right to bring claims in court (except for small claims) or participate in class actions.

11.2 Class Action Waiver

All disputes must be brought on an individual basis.
