Last Modified: November 25, 2025
Monolith Interactive LLC (“Monolith,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the GirlfriendEngine.com website and related interactive AI communication services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes what limited information we handle, how we use it, and the safeguards we apply.
GirlfriendEngine is intentionally designed to operate with minimal data collection and no personally identifiable information (“PII”) wherever possible. We do not ask for, require, or store information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or government IDs in order to use the Service.
By accessing the Website or Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all users of GirlfriendEngine.com and the Service.
The Service is strictly limited to adults 18 years and older.
This Policy does not apply to Monolith employees or job applicants.
2. What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Physical addresses
- Payment card numbers
- Government-issued identification
- Biometric information
- Demographic attributes tied to identity
We purposely avoid collecting PII. The safest personal information is information we never possess.
3. What We Do Collect (Non-Identifying Data Only)
3.1 Authentication Tokens
If you sign in using a third-party identity provider (e.g., Google), we receive only an anonymous token that allows you to access the Service.
We do not receive your name, email, or profile data from these providers.
3.2 Technical and Device Metadata
To operate the Service, we automatically process limited technical information, including:
- Browser type
- Device type
- Operating system
- Basic routing information (e.g., IP address processed temporarily during connection)
- Session timestamps
- Error logs
This information is used solely for security, stability, and system functionality, and is not reasonably linkable to an identifiable individual.
3.3 Conversation Data (Deidentified Operational Data)
During an active interaction with an AI companion, the system temporarily processes the text or audio you provide so the AI can respond. This conversation data:
- is accessible only to the automated system during the live session
- is not visible to any employee, contractor, or administrator
- is stored only in a deidentified, internal format tied to non-personal system tokens
- cannot be associated with a real person by Monolith
- is used solely to operate and improve the Service
Even if you choose to share personal details within a conversation, the system is not designed to verify or associate that information with you.
3.4 Transaction Metadata
Payments are processed entirely by third-party vendors.
We receive only:
- confirmation that a transaction occurred
- non-identifying transaction references
- purchased coin amounts
We do not receive or store full payment card details.
4. How We Use Non-Identifying Data
We use the limited data we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Maintain anonymous user sessions
- Enable AI companion interactions
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Diagnose technical issues
- Develop and improve system performance
- Manage coin balances and usage records
We do not create user profiles tied to identity, and we do not track users across services.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information because we do not collect personal information.
We operate and manage our own infrastructure directly. Aside from basic internet connectivity services (e.g., network transit providers) and essential escrowed payment processing handled offsite, the Service does not rely on external hosting platforms, cloud providers, or third-party data storage systems. This design significantly reduces the number of entities that ever interact with our systems or data.
We may share limited, non-identifying operational information only with:
- Payment processors, for the sole purpose of completing transactions; and
- Security and network service providers, to protect the integrity and availability of the Service.
These partners have no ability to access user conversations or any identifying information, and their access is strictly confined to what is necessary to perform their functions.
We may disclose information if required to comply with a valid legal request. Because we do not collect personal information and do not operate identity-linked accounts, our ability to identify any individual user is inherently limited.
6. Data Retention
We retain only the anonymous, operational data necessary to maintain continuity of the Service.
Because no data is tied to identifiable individuals, retention limits applicable to personal data do not apply.
Conversation data and session data may be retained in a deidentified form for operational or system-improvement purposes.
No human has access to this data.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Because we do not collect personal information, many privacy rights typically associated with identifiable data do not apply.
Users may request:
- deletion of their anonymous session tokens
- closure of their anonymous account
- removal of stored operational data associated with their internal system identifier
Submit requests to support@monolithinteractive.net.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
We use only essential cookies or local storage tokens required for login persistence and Service functionality.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking tools, or behavioral profiling.
9. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the limited, non-identifying data processed by the Service. These measures include controlled system access, network-level protections, internal separation of components, and strict restrictions that prevent human access to conversation data. We also conduct ongoing evaluations of our infrastructure to identify and reduce potential vulnerabilities. No security method is perfect, but our minimal-data architecture and controlled environment significantly reduce exposure and risk.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended strictly for users 18+.
Because we do not collect identifiable data, we have no means to knowingly retain information about minors. If we learn a user is under 18, we will disable access.
11. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. Anonymous operational data may be processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions.
Because we do not collect personal data, international data-transfer restrictions generally do not apply.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. The “Last Modified” date reflects the most recent version.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
